Building one platform for virtual infrastructure.
VEXO is an infrastructure platform bringing virtualization, backup, monitoring, migration and availability together under one control plane.
The platform is in active development. This site describes what exists, what is being built and what is planned — and labels each one.
Why
Virtualization stopped being a settled question.
Licensing terms changed under estates that were sized for the old ones. Backup products complete jobs that nobody has restored from. Monitoring produces charts that terminate in nothing.
VEXO is being built on the position that these are one problem, not four: infrastructure should be operable, recoverable and auditable from a single control plane, on open virtualization technologies, without the hypervisor becoming a commercial lock-in point.
That position is why this site labels every capability with its delivery status instead of describing the finished product as though it already shipped.
Today
What is actually true right now
Four statements that can be checked, rather than a customer logo wall.
Built Around Open Technologies
The virtualization layer is built on established open technologies rather than a proprietary hypervisor you cannot inspect.
Designed for Operational Control
Every lifecycle action is a tracked job with an operator, an outcome and an audit record.
Recovery-Focused Architecture
Protection is designed around verified restore, not job completion.
Migration-Ready Roadmap
A defined path in from VMware, Hyper-V and KVM estates.
VEXO does not publish customer names, logos, testimonials, awards or headcount on this site. When there are references to publish, they will be published with permission.
07Why VEXO
Six positions we are willing to be measured against.
Not slogans. Each of these is a design decision that shows up in how the platform behaves.
Secure by Design
Identity, RBAC, auditability and controlled management-plane access are part of the architecture rather than a later hardening pass.
Recovery First
A backup is not considered successful merely because a job completed. Protection is measured by what can be restored.
Simple Operations
Infrastructure workflows designed to be understandable and auditable — an operator should be able to explain what the platform just did.
Migration Friendly
A planned migration path from established virtualization platforms, with assessment and rollback built into the method.
Transparent Licensing
Simple commercial editions and a predictable lifecycle, so the platform's cost does not change shape underneath the estate.
Infrastructure Independence
Designed around open virtualization technologies with a VEXO-managed control plane, so the hypervisor is not a commercial lock-in point.

Architecture, roadmap sequence, migration method, or what VEXO deliberately does not do. All fair game.
